Ordering Info & FAQs
Ordering from Corsetry & Couture
Ordering from us is a simple process according to your requirements and location. If you are within travelling distance then contact us to arrange an initial consultation where we discuss design ideas and your measurements will be taken. A deposit is payable at this point. A bespoke pattern will be drafted and a mock-up prepared if necessary.
At least one fitting of your garment in the final fabric will also be required. For full outfits expect more fittings, this will be dependent on the chosen design.
Payment can be made in two to four installments, with the final balance being due upon collection.
For clients located further away, arrangements can be made either by travelling, remote fittings or a combination of both.
Please note that all items are created by hand, thus a turnaround of between 6-12 weeks is needed to ensure the quality of the garment is upheld. Should you require a piece for a specific date, I will be more than happy to accommodate, but please inform me as soon as possible, either by e-mail, or phone.
Items will be shipped via a Royal Mail or courier to ensure they reach you safely, so please make sure someone is available to sign for it. If you live outside the UK please contact us to discuss shipping arrangements, I am happy to ship all over the world and will arrange the best option for you!

4. Do you have corsets for plus size women or men?
Because I design and make every corset to each client’s measurements I am able to make a corset to fit any figure.
5. How do I select the right size?
Please refer to my ‘measurements’ section for how to take accurate body measurements and I will create a corset just for you.
6. Why should I order a bespoke corset rather than an off the peg corset ?
We are all individuals…
Here at Corsetry and Couture, we cater for people of all proportions. Many people ask why they should have a ‘custom’ made corset instead of an ‘off-the-peg’ garment.
Off-the-peg corsets are made to standard sizes…But these days, what is a ‘standard’ size? Unfortunately, we find it very difficult to buy off the peg and have it fit perfectly as very few of us are a standard size. By transferring your individual measurements into a bespoke corset, through consultations, pattern drafting and regular fittings; we will ensure your corset will fit like a glove.
Your corset will be designed to suit your individual personality and style
A unique, handmade, high quality garment.
7. Do your corsets have suspenders for stockings?
If you would like to have suspenders added to your corset, please add the required amount in the ‘additional options’ dropdown box on your order.
8. Will a Corset make me look slimmer?
Yes, your corset will reduce your waist by 3-5 inches, or from 5 inches for waist training corsets. They will help create a lovely shapely hourglass silhouette and accentuate your natural figure.
